George Takei and Wil Wheaton Appearing at Emerald City Comicon This Weekend

Emerald City Comicon, the largest comic book and pop culture convention in Pacific Northwest, kicks off this Friday, March 30th. The three-day event will take place at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington.

The guest list includes Star Trek: The Original Series and Celebrity Apprentice star George Takei along with Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Wil Wheaton.

Star Trek author, editor, archivist, consultant and the producer of the upcoming “The Con of Wrath” documentary, Larry Nemecek will also be on-hand throughout the weekend.

Other (non-Trek) guests include Battlestar Galactica‘s Edward James Olmos, Firefly’s Summer Glau and Adam Baldwin, The Walking Dead‘s Jon Bernthal and Laurie Holden, Babylon 5‘s Julie Caitlin Brown and Stargate SG1‘s Christopher Judge.

Single-day and weekend passes will be available at the door and will be priced at $20 for Friday, $30 for Saturday, $25 for Sunday and $60 for a three-day pass.

Separately, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will present Jay & Silent Bob Get Old on Sunday night, April 1st, at 7:00pm (doors at 6:00pm). While this event is being sold apart from the standard ECCC admission, tickets will also include a poster pre-signed by the duo.
