Major Lineup Change for Creation’s Nashville Star Trek Convention

Creation Entertainment has announced that due to a filming commitment, Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Patrick Stewart has been pulled from their Official Star Trek Convention in Nashville next month.

As a replacement, it has been confirmed that Star Trek: Deep Space Nine‘s Avery Brooks will now headline the event.

Due to the conflict, Stewart has also been pulled from a separate event, the Phoenix Comicon, which takes place later this month.

Other scheduled Nashville guests include Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Jonathan Frakes and LeVar Burton from TNG, along with Nichelle Nichols, George Takei and Chase Masterson. TrekNews.net contributor, John Tenuto will deliver a special presentation on the history of Star Trek.

The convention takes place June 9th and 10th at the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
