This August, fans from around the globe will again descend upon Las Vegas for the largest Star Trek convention in the world — Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention. This year, convention goers will once again attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people in Star Trek costumes in one place.
The current record of 1063 was set at the Star Trek London event, which took place in 2012.

The Official Star Trek Convention takes place August 8-11th at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas. Announced guests include William Shatner, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, Jonathan Frakes, Jeri Ryan, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden and many more.
