George Takei To Be Honored By ACLU

On Thursday, May 21, Star Trek‘s George Takei will be honored with the ACLU of Massachusetts’ Roger Baldwin Award during the 2015 Bill of Rights Dinner.

Named after the founding figure in the international human rights movement, The Roger N. Baldwin Medal of Liberty was established in 1989 in honor of the principal founder of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the International League for Human Rights. The Award is presented by Human Rights First every other year to a human rights organization or activist outside of the United States that has made a distinguished contribution to the protection and promotion of human rights.

The dinner will be held at the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston. Tickets are available for $180.
