With the next phase of production underway, the cast of next year’s “Star Trek Beyond” held a press conference in Dubai, last week.
The film’s stars Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, and Anton Yelchin, along with director Justin Lin, executive producer Jeffrey Chernov and co-writer Doug Jung took part in the press conference to discuss filming in Dubai.

Directed by Justin Lin and produced by J.J. Abrams and Roberto Orci, “Star Trek Beyond” stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Sofia Boutella and Idris Elba will hit theaters on July 22, 2016. The film will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise.
