Paramount has released a new TV spot, titled “Unity”, to promote the upcoming release of STAR TREK BEYOND.
As with any trailer, this should be considered a possible spoiler.
The new spot puts the crew of the USS Enterprise and their teamwork on center stage. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Scotty, Sulu and Jaylah are all shown, as they work together to battle against the film’s big baddie Krall.
We see a quick shot of Krall and hear him say:
“Unity is not your strength.”
Kirk responds, as we see him holding a phaser:
“I think you’re underestimating humanity.”

Directed by Justin Lin, written by Simon Pegg, Doug Jung, Roberto Orci, John D. Payne and Patrick McCay, Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 22 after premiering during San Diego Comic-Con on July 20.
