Star Trek: The Motion Picture Soundtrack To Be Released On Vinyl + Full Track Listing

The soundtrack for Star Trek: The Motion Picture is coming to vinyl

The soundtrack for Star Trek: The Motion Picture will be released as a double LP set by La-La Land Records beginning March 14.

The set will be limited to 1,500 units. On 180 gram colored vinyl, the release will come in gatefold packaging with artwork by Daren Dochterman along with an 8-page color insert.

Originally released in 1979, The Motion Picture‘s score was composed and conducted by the legendary Jerry Goldsmith and includes the film’s main title, which would later go on to be used as the theme song for Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987.
