The latest Star Trek: Discovery trailer has arrived and it’s packed with new footage from the upcoming series.
“We Embrace the Unknown” includes new character moments with First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Lt. Saru (Doug Jones), and Cadet Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs), and Lt. Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp). Plus, what appears to be our first glimpse at a new — and possibly cybernetically-enhanced — member of Starfleet.

Star Trek: Discovery is set to premiere on Sunday, September 24 at 8:30 PM ET on CBS. Immediately following the first episode’s release, the second episode will be available in the U.S. on CBS All Access, with subsequent episodes released on Sundays. The first eight episodes will run from September 24 through November 5, with the series returning in January 2018.
