[PREVIEW] STAR TREK: DISCOVERY’s Mid-Season Premiere “Despite Yourself”

After a two month hiatus, Star Trek: Discovery returns this Sunday, with an all new episode titled “Despite Yourself“. The episode was directed by none other than Jonathan Frakes, who played Cmdr. William Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation and has directed episodes of Burn Notice, NCIS: Los Angeles, Leverage and The Orville.

Leading up to the episode’s airing, CBS has released ten photos and two videos.

Official synopsis:

While in unfamiliar territory, the U.S.S. Discovery crew is forced to get creative in their next efforts to survive opposing and unprecedented forces and return home.
