William Shatner Fires Back at Carrie Fisher [Video]

William Shatner jokingly fired back at Carrie Fisher’s video comments directed at him, his weight and her stance on Star Trek versus Star Wars.

In a video released by Shatner, entitled “Dearest Carrie…”, the 80 year old Shatner took exception to Fisher’s comments about his weight.

“What is she, 39? I’m a lot older than that. Wait until you’re my age Carrie Fisher. See how much weight you gain.” Shatner joked.

Shatner also commented on Star Wars special effects. Saying “You guys did have the best special effects.”

“I envy the [Star Wars] special effects,” Shatner said. “You guys forgot about story. Story and characters and plot development,” he added while showing images of Jar Jar Binks and Ewoks.

Next up was the topic of Shatner’s weight.

“As for you in a bikini and me in my original costume, I don’t know whether we’re ready for you in a bikini. My costume was made of stretch material. So there wouldn’t be any difficulty giving it a little push here and there,”

“You in a bikini needs a lot more than push and pull. It’s needs a lot of ‘uplift’.” he joked.
