Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention returns to Boston this weekend (June 21-22) at the Hynes Convention Center. Scheduled guests include Avery Brooks, Walter Koenig, Robert Picardo, Terry Farrell, Robert Beltran, Tim Russ, Conner Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Anthony Montgomery, John Billingsly and Garrett Wang. Additionally, Robert O’Reilly as Gowron, JG Hertzler as Martok, Max Grodenchik as Rom and Aron Eisenberg as Nog will be in costume as part of a “Special Celebrities From Other Worlds” on stage appearance.

We’ve been notified that Avery Brooks has cancelled. Fellow Deep Space Nine star Nana Visitor will replace Brooks on Sunday. Additionally, the science panels by Ira Mark Egdall have been cancelled.

In addition to the celebrity guest appearances, the two-day convention will also include a vendors area with Star Trek collectables, a costume parade, two science panels by Ira Mark Egdall, Richard Arnold’s “Trekspert” panel featuring archival video and photographs, “The Inner Light” screenwriter Morgan Gendall, and a live auction.
