Nazneen Contractor is the latest addition to the cast of the Star Trek sequel.
Best known for her work on 24 as Kayla Hassan, the 29 year-old Contractor has previously worked on CBS’s The Border and Rules of Engagement.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Contractor will play the wife of Noel Clarke’s character in the upcoming film.
She joins the returning Star Trek cast along with Benedict Cumberbatch, Noel Clarke, Alice Eve and Peter Weller.
The film is set to begin filming later this month and will be released on May 17, 2013.
