“I, Borg” Poster Available Friday from Mondo

Mondo is set to release yet another addition to their ever-growing Star Trek limited edition poster series.

On Friday (11/18), the Austin, TX based company will put on sale two Star Trek: The Next Generation “I, Borg” posters. The first of which is limited to 250 and will sell for $40. The second poster, a metallic variant edition will be limited to just 80 and will cost $65.

The 24″ x 36″ posters, designed by artists Jesse Philips, will be hand numbered.

As with all Mondo releases, these will sell out quickly and will go on-sale at a random time on Friday with an alert being sent through Twitter.

Read the description from Mondo below.

Jesse’s unique style complements the nature of the episode illustrating the connections Hugh has to the collective as well as the new relationships he develops while on board the Enterprise which awaken the sense of identity suppressed by the collective.  X-ray insets throughout the piece remind the viewer that there is flesh…a real heart at the center of the wires and machinery forced upon him by the Borg. The hard realization Picard eventually has to acknowledge in the episode.

Mondo has produced some FANTASTIC Star Trek posters.  And surprise they sold out and are being sold on eBay for double the price.  Some might say smart, some might say greed.
