Updated: New Star Trek Sequel Shooting Locations to Include a Budweiser Brewery

New Star Trek Sequel Shooting Locations

Today brings news that the Star Trek sequel has a few additional Southern California shooting locations planned.

According to Locations Hollywood, the additional locations will include the Budweiser Brewery, Sony Studios, Dodger Stadium, Long Beach City Hall, Vasquez Rocks and the Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin.

The Vasquez Rocks location has been used for several Star Trek productions in the past, including the Original Series episode, “Arena.”

UPDATE: Locations Hollywood removed the tweet on Monday night as they look to confirm the shooting locations.

The film began shooting on January 12th and is scheduled to be released to theaters on May 17th, 2013.

    Looks like engineering is back at the beer factory.

    The episode title is “Arena”.  No “the”. 

    Also, Vasquez Rocks has served as a location for several episodes, starting with “Shore Leave”.
