WATCH: Damon Lindelof Talks Star Trek Sequel’s Presence at San Diego Comic-Con

Co-writer of next year’s Star Trek sequel, Damon Lindelof recently spoke with /Film at last weekend’s WonderCon. Lindelof discussed whether the highly anticipated film will have a presence at the largest annual industry trade show, the San Diego Comic-Con, in July.

“I know that there’s a very strong desire to be there,” Lindelof said. “We wrap production in May — Comic-Con this year I think is in early July. So obviously if there’s something worth showing, we will show it, and if there is nothing worth showing, hopefully we’ll at least be there to have people to throw fruits and vegetables, Tribbles at us.”

This year’s SDCC takes place July 12-15 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

During the interview, Lindelof also discusses the release of Prometheus.
