As we approach next month’s release of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, Paramount has released a second character profile featurette. Following last week’s look at Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, today’s video focusses on Simon Pegg as Scotty.
In the new video Pegg describes Scotty as “a drinker and a bit of a brawler” who “speaks his mind and is a bit silly at time, but he’s a damn good engineer.”
Pegg goes on to say that Into Darkness is “relentlessly action packed” and “everything I want in a Star Trek film,”.

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller, Bruce Greenwood and Alice Eve, will be in IMAX, 3D and 2D theaters everywhere on May 17th.
