The 67th Emmy Awards In Memoriam paid tribute to several actors, directors, writers, and producers who passed away in the last year. In Memoriam ended with “Star Trek” star Leonard Nimoy, reminding us to “Live Long and Prosper.”

Nimoy passed away at the age of 83 in February after battling the effects of COPD.

“Star Trek” writer/producer Harve Bennett was also included in the tribute

I didn’t watch the Emmy broadcast, so thanks for telling us that this happened.

For those who just want to see Leonard Nimoy, he’s only at the very end, starting at 3:20.

Chris and John from Saturday night live should have been on the list as well.
But still R.I.P. to those who have passed away.

Love Eva Cassidy’s rendition of “Somewhere…” another voice silenced too early by cancer.

I still miss Leonard Nimoy to this day. He was the face of Star Trek, a class act and a mensch. He won’t be forgotten and with the 50th Anniversary coming up next year I am sure that Mr Nimoy will be mentioned. I hope he will be mentioned in the new Star Trek movie as well (I think he will be according to an article I read a while ago and Simon Pegg stated that Nimoy would be mentioned in the new movie). Nimoy was such an influence to so many and there will never be another like him. Even though Mr Nimoy may be gone his influence and Spock will be forever. RIP Mr Nimoy !!!
