My favorite part of this movie, honestly is the saddest. Spock’s funeral. Seeing how amazing the performance from everyone there was, how deeply they all portrayed the loss, it will always knock me down. Such a powerful moment.

Hard to pick just one favorite moment. The surprise attack and reply are too cool. “Where’s the override?!”

My favorite scene from Star Trek 2 The Wrath of Khan was the Genesis Countdown Scene.

Admiral Kirk: “Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most…human.”

I like when thevcrew pulls up the floor after Khan attacks.

The end with the playing of Amazing Grace. Simply awesome.

For me it’s gotta be the moment when Chekov realises the derelict ship is the Botany Bay. His face and reaction is just brilliant. “Botany bay… Botany BAY… OH NO” This element of comedy cross with drama is what really make this movie work, it strikes the perfect balance, and this scene is a perfect example of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtBIdCVi4j4

The finale, with that Horner score and the Genesis planet. “I feel young.”

There just too many to name! Saw the film in the theater in 1982 and have been hooked since!

When Spock gives Kirk the book for his Birthday and they discuss “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”

My favorite bit is just after Spock dies and Jim let’s out a broken “No” and just stares off into nothing because hes lost his best friend. That was awesome acting from Bill Shatner.

I like the scene where Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are discussing the Genesis Project. At the end of a spirited debate between Spock and McCoy, McCoy says, “Logic? My God, the man’s talking about logic; we’re talking about universal Armageddon! You green-blooded, inhuman…”. Always funny to see Spock raise his eyebrow to what McCoy wanted to say at the end of that sentence.

McCoy and Scott restrain Kirk from entering the reactor room. Scott tells Kirk that Spock is dead already, and McCoy tells him that it’s too late. Kirk’s heart sinks knowing that there is nothing he can do to save his friend.

Two scenes will always stand out to me. First, when Scotty carries his dying nephew to the bridge and subsequently in Sickbay. Secondly, I don’t think I will ever hear Amazing Grace without thinking of Spock’s funeral.

My favorite scene in the film might be Spock’s funeral. William Shatner’s performance was one of his best as Capt. Kirk.

This would make a great gift to my oldest brother. He keeps saying that Ricardo Montaban was the best Khan.

Kirk’s reluctance to wear his glasses when khan wants info from his damaged ship. A fleeting moment of vanity as he puts them on. “Its coming thru now,khan”

My favorite part of the movie is during the scene in the nebula when the Enterprise positions itself behind the Relient for a clean shot!

When Kirk flips out his communicator in the Genesis Cave and contacts Spock to learn the true condition of the Enterprise, explaining the short hand they used to disguise their communications. Love that ingenuity at the core of Star Trek.

My favorite TWOK moment is at the end on the bridge, when McCoy asks Kirk how feels, and Kirk says “young”. Gets me everytime.

I like the scene where Kirk yells “Khan!!!” and you hear it echoing from the planet’s surface.

Creating the Genesis Cave, and seeing the teenage Spock are both favorite scenes of mine. If I had to choose though, the fantastic rendering of seeing the planet change.

Kirk: “What”s the meaning of this attack? Where’s the crew of the Reliant?” Khan: “Surely, I have made my meaning plain. I mean to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I deprived your ship of power, and when I swing around, I mean to deprive you of your life.”

The entire confrontation scene, from the reveal of Khan through the prefix code to Scotty’s appearance on the bridge – one of the greatest Star Trek scenes ever.

My favorite scene is probably the moment Khan and Kirk talk through the viewscreen. Those two characters have such amazing interactions every single time they appear together, be it TV or movies.
In TWOK that may not have been talking in person but it was so powerful even through the viewscreen. And Khan’s tendency to be like a cat playing with the mouse, wanting to ensure they know who defeated them, ends up coming back to bite him.
I wish they had had more scenes together in TWOK (like they had originally considered doing), but that one scene, and the scene while Kirk is in the cave (“KHAAAAAN!!”) are so good even if they’re not really face to face.

It’s also interesting to note that if you pay attention to the screen when Spock shows where the Enterprise was hit by Khan in TWOK (when Khan wanted to disable them to ask about Genesis etc.), it’s the same spots that Khan hits them in during Into Darkness as well.
Meaning that in STID too he was firing to disable the Enterprise (and trying to scare Kirk by telling him his ship would be going down) rather than to destroy it.

The Kobayashi Maru test. It was a great way to foreshadow the themes of the movie, introduce Saavik, as well as to tease the death of Spock.

My favorite scene from the movie is Spock’s funeral. A very emotional and powerful scene to watch. Well-done.

There are so many memorable scenes to what is generally considered to be the greatest off all Trek films, so if I had to pick only one, it would be Spock’s death. William Shatner just nailed it, and Nimoy’s performance was stellar!

The entire Kobayashi Maru opening sequence was brilliant and made you wonder if the leak that Spock died wasn’t just that until later in the film.
