I love Star Trek, but I’m done re-buying it over and over again. Give me extended cuts of the main ten films, and I’m there. Past that, my collection is done.

Yeah, I agree. I love Trek too – too much, but over all the years, I’ve bought the same movies again and again. On VHS single movies, TOS episodes and TNG, then a couple of boxed sets of the shows and movies, at least two movies on CDi/VCD, then replaced them all one-by-one on DVD, then a number of boxed set shows, now it’s all bluray and before I even think about collecting them all over again, a new format will appear. What I do now is buy the movies I want on DVD or whatever so I own them, then rip it to a media server so I can stream or copy to my own devices as I choose. Unless an extended version comes out as you say, I’m done and my collection stands as is.

Will they correct the error on the Blu-ray director’s cut of TWOK that everyone is complaining about?

They seriously need to do this. And in addition, if this is to be a proper collection, also give me the director’s cut of TMP in HD.
