That’s easy. 🙂 The scene where Kirk and McCoy first meet. I have watched the entire Star Trek franchise. McCoy has always been one of my favorite characters. We know from the first time McCoy appears in the original tv show that he and Kirk had been friends from before the posting but we are never given a lot of details on that so getting to see them meet for the first time was great. So much attention is put on his meeting and friendship with Spock and not as much on this mysterious friendship with McCoy. McCoy is older than Kirk. Here is this doctor who at some point befriends a younger officer. How. When. Where. So this was really cool.
Also Karl Urban is an amazing McCoy. I love all of the scenes he is in..That he was almost not in Beyond . . .I am so looking forward to seeing more of him as McCoy! 🙂

“Into Darkness”: Cumberbatch’s Khan to Admiral Marcus, “You should have let me sleep!” It’s not the gore, but Benedict’s delivery that was mesmerizing.

The scene where Kirk meets McCoy for the first time. “My Wife took the whole damn planet in the divorce, all I have left are my bones,” McCoy said, explaining his reason for going Starfleet.

I found Bones to be pretty funny. Especially, when he was talking about his divorce. Because that is the way I felt with mine… LOL. She took everything, but left me with my Star Trek collection.

“Yeah. Well, I got nowhere else to go. The ex-wife took the whole damn planet in the divorce. All I got left is my bones.”

After Khan asks Carol if she thinks they are safe at warp, there is a scene of the Vengeance chasing the Enterprise. The sounds the ships makes when entering the Enterprise’s warp vortex is so creepy and organic that it makes this my favourite scene in any star trek movie.

in 2009’s Star Trek my favorite scene is when Old Spock and Young Kirk meet for the first time… seeing Leonard Nimoy again and in his 6th decade as Spock is amazing… while the set up of getting the two characters together is a tad clunky… it works so well for me because of Nimoy and Pine. Nimoy is so good in this scene. he is Spock looking through a prism. he sees Kirk like he remembers, a young brash confident kid… this is where the two timelines cross. the mind melding. and this is where Spock realizes the diverging timelines and what’s different about Kirk and that Nero the villain altered history. he knows the basic character of this young kirk is the same as the one he knew his whole life and needs to get him to command the enterprise. Spock simultaneously is in pain from failing his mission to save Romulus. And just lost his home planet. There’s a lot going on with Nimoy’s Spock and it’s all super awesome.

Trek ’09: Spock prime saying “I have been and always shall be your friend.” I could have cried. It gets me every time.

Kirk’s birth and the opening score kicking in raises the hairs on the back of my neck every time and coming in at a close second is the opening montage sequence of Into Darkness!

The scene after the bar fight when Pike tells Kirk “I dare you to do better” is still one of the best scenes in all the movies. Not only is it a great Kirk character-building moment but the character of Pike gets a chance to shine in a way that’s a real tribute to the character that started the entire Star Trek franchise in the original pilot.

My favorite scene is from ‘Star Trek’ (XI) where younger Spock meets Spock Prime! For me, that was truly an awesome moment, because Spock Prime (Leonard Nimoy) is a legend and an icon, who is greatly missed, and loved by all his fans!

James Kirk’s birth in St 2009. The fragility of life is underscored by having a child born on one of those tiny shuttles escaping into space as his father, George, sacrifices his life.

“…your father was captain of a Starship for 12 minutes. He saved 800 lives”

Star Trek ’09 / The bar fight scene! I knew immediately Pine was going to be a great Kirk!

The engine room/reactor scene towards the end of Into Darkness has a wonderful role reversal. I don’t want to be more specific than that due to spoilers, but it has emotional and sentimental weight and sets up a great final act.
