Less than a week after the release of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – The Director’s Cut on Blu-ray, a glitch has been identified and Paramount is getting ahead of the issue and offering a replacement for discs included in the recall.
Some eagle-eyed viewers first noticed the issue during the scene with Sulu at the helm during the Kobayashi Maru training simulation where a shot is repeated.
Fans who purchased the Blu-ray can easily identify if their disc is affected by looking at the UPC on the back of the packaging. If you have a white barcode, you’re eligible for a replacement. If your barcode is yellow, you’re all set.

Even though both White and Yellow UPC are in Canadian stores Paramount is refusing to do the exchange for Canadians.
“This error is only affecting Blu-ray product
coming from U.S. retailers.”
To say this cheese me off is a mild understatement.
