Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 1 Episode 1 preview

With the debut of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds just days away, we have a collection of new photos and a trailer from the highly-anticipated series’ first installment.

The episode — also titled “Strange New Worlds” — was written by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman, and Jenny Lumet and directed by Akiva Goldsman.

Official synopsis:

When one of Pike’s officers goes missing while on a secret mission for Starfleet, Pike has to come out of self-imposed exile. He must navigate how to rescue his officer, while struggling with what to do with the vision of the future he’s been given.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premiers Thursday, May 5th on Paramount+.

The series stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Ethan Peck as Spock, Rebecca Romijn as Una Chin-Riley (a.k.a. Number One), Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, and Bruce Horak as Hemmer.
