With just a few hours until the new episode of Star Trek: Discovery, “The Wolf Inside”, is released on CBS All Access (and Netflix Internationally on Monday), EW has unveiled our first look at the series’ take on some classic Star Trek alien races.
In last week’s Mirror Universe episode, “Despite Yourself”, we learned that several alien races (including the Andorians, Tellarites, and Klingons) have united against the Terran Empire.
You can check out our preview of this week’s episode here.
“As the Discovery crew continues to try to navigate their way back home from the Mirror Universe, Tyler and Burnham find themselves on their most challenging mission yet — facing off with a rebel faction of Andorians, Tellarites, and a familiar ivory-skinned Klingon,” said showrunners Aaron Harberts and Gretchen J. Berg.
“Of course, we couldn’t travel all the way there and not feature at least one proper Mirror-Universe goatee. ‘The Wolf Inside’ is a nonstop ride that crescendos to a mind-bending confrontation that we hope will leave the audience cheering for more.”
The 11th episode of Star Trek: Discovery will be available to CBS All Access subscribers this Sunday, January 14th at 8:30 PM ET and on Netflix for viewers outside the US on Monday morning.

It isn’t. It’s ego masturbation for Seth MacFarlane, who was so desperate to star in a Star Trek series that he invented his own fake Star Trek show. It fails as science fiction, and it fails as comedy.

Not bad. I get the sense that the designer was at least familiar with the subject matter. The same cannot be said for all of their creatures.

I love them! Great makeup that makes them look more alien and brutal. The Tellarite is especially impressive looking. Very boar like.
