WATCH: Latest 'Star Trek: Discovery' Trailer "A Future Worth Fighting For"

With just one-week until the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery, CBS has released a new trailer to promote the series, titled “A Future Worth Fighting For.”

In the one-minute spot we see Starfleet’s Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs), Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) and First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) prepare for what appears to be a confrontation with the Klingons.

We hear Lorca remark:

We are at war. We kill them… or they kill us. And everyone we care about.

After some destruction, we hear Burnham say:

The outcome for any Klingon interaction… is battle.

Which is then followed by shots of Burnham battling a Klingon in space outside of the ship.

Then we hear Captain Georgia explain:

If they attack, we are the only line of defense.

As has been the case with previous trailers, this video may be region-locked to the United States. We’ll add International versions as soon as they are made available.

I am so damned tired of not being able to see these videos. Whose stupid idea was it to geoblock the trailers between the US and everyone else? Just one more thing that is annoying the hell out of me with this new series.
